Representatives of Melbourne's liquor and hotel industries can comment on the effectiveness — or lack thereof — of the 2:00am lockout in an online survey by KPMG.
The Department of Justice and the Director of Liquor Licensing has contracted KPMG to conduct the survey. They are seeking feedback to evaluate the results of the three-month lockout.
The temporary lockout was introduced June 3 in response to a surge in alcohol-related violence and anti-social behaviour in Melbourne, with the trial finishing September 2.
The survey will be available online until 8:00pm October 20.
