Australian Vintage Limited (AVL) has announced the retirement of Christopher Harris as a director of the company.
Harris, who directly holds 78,500 shares in the company, began his association with AVL when he was appointed deputy chairman of Simeon Wines in 1994.
He continued his directorship when Simeon Wines and Brian McGuigan Wines merged in 2002.
McGuigan Simeon Wines changed its name to Australian Vintage in 2008.
AVL acting chairman Ian Ferrier thanked Harris for his contribution to the company.
