Hospitality and Design Expo Announces Unique Concept
By Rebecca Harris
The inaugural Hotel Hospitality + Design (HH+D) exhibition has announced it will be featuring a unique concept which will see hotel rooms built live in front of visitors.
The demonstration, operating as the Dulux Refurbishment Stage, will be free to attend and will be constructed three times daily, with full audience interaction encouraged.
Exhibition manager, Michael William-Kelly, said that the stage is designed to 'inspire hotel owners and managers to refurbish and renew their venues in order to stay ahead of the competition'.
“It will give visitors the exciting opportunity to witness first-hand the interior design and refurbishment process at work,” he said. “The stage will be divided into two sections. One half will be a five-star hotel room refurbishment and the other a 3-4 star hotel room makeover.”
The expo, which will be held from 24-26 May 2010 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, will have a key focus on design, fit-out and refurbishment for the hotel, resorts, spas and hospitality industry.
