Variety Rules at HGA 2010

The two-day Hospitality and Gaming Australasia (HGA) expo and conference has ended with organisers calling the event ‘more than just a trade show’.

Clubs Queensland CEO, Doug Flockhart, and HGA expo manager, Mary Bishop, pronounced the event a success with over 200 exhibitors and 2500 attendees on the Monday and Tuesday (April 19, 20).

Exhibitors told TheShout that the Monday was the busier of the two days but a steady stream of people enjoyed the wide variety of attractions on the Tuesday as well.

Flockhart said the show was a unique trade mix of clubs, hotels and motels that provided excellent networking opportunities for an industry that had generally experienced a tough 2009.
