All around Sydney costumes have been selected, wigs given a final brush and accessories coordinated as the Australian liquor industry prepares for its night of nights: ALIA.
Tonight sees the 18th Australian Liquor Industry Awards (ALIA) take place at Luna Park with winners in each of the 51 categories to be honoured by their peers.
The always popular Larry Emdur will return as host of the event, which has the theme of ‘Music’.
While AC/DC will not be in attendance, expect a few musical surprises over the course of the evening.

7.15pm – Entertainment
7.30pm – Welcome and introduction, Entrée Served
7.40pm – Beer Awards
8pm – Wine Awards
8.15pm – Dinner Served
8.40pm – Spirit Awards
9pm – Hotel, Bar and Club Awards
9.45pm – Major Awards
10.15pm – Dancing
The Green Fairy After Party will be held at Cargo Bar on King Street Wharf.
The ‘Green Ferry’ will depart Luna Park Wharf for the after party at 10.55pm and 11.55pm.
