A free app from global beverage giant Coca-Cola Amatil is set to become invaluable to time-poor retailers.
Available for iPhone and Android smartphones and tablets, it allows registered users to manage CCA food & bev ordering in their own time.
The ‘myCCA on the move’ app, is an alternative – but not a replacement – to CCA’s traditional sales representative and customer centre channels, enabling greater flexibility for users.
Speaking to TheShout, CCA licensed division general manager of sales David Halliday said the software was about increasing services and providing customers with more choice and flexibility.
“MyCCA on the move will not replace any existing services. It is an additional application designed to provide smaller businesses with more flexibility in placing orders or getting access to product promotions – at times suitable to them.
“This way, clients can place orders in their down times or outside hours of operation, which is a level of flexibility we haven’t been previously able to provide.
“Currently, 15 per cent of customers come through mobile or online sources. This kind of technology is becoming steadily more adopted as awareness around it increases and clients become more comfortable with the services.”
The App won the 2011 Australian Mobile Line of Business Award, and has a number of useful features and tools including recent history and easy order placement.
It was launched on Android at the end of March and can be downloaded free from Google Play.
