The Casella family's brewing venture has moved into the next phase, with in-store sampling of its new Arvo Beer currently underway in liquor stores across the country.

The sampling activations started last week in eight of the top Dan Murphy's stores in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. They will run until Sunday. [continues below]

Casella will shortly kick off the same promotion in its top five independent off-premise outlets in these states.

It says consumers are reacting positively to the concept of the two beers, Arvo 51 and Arvo 34, and are interested to see which one will be released on a permanent basis in Spring.

Voting on the two beers is still very close, with 55 per cent of consumers currently preferring Arvo 51 and 45 per cent in favour of Arvo 34.
