Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) has announced the appointment of a new premium spirits brand ambassador to their Melbourne team.

The role, the first of its kind in Victoria, will see reigning ALIA Bar Manager of the Year and former manager of Golden Monkey, Chris Stock, come on board as Victorian premium spirits brand ambassador.

The new role will see him focus on raising the profile of CCA’s premium spirit portfolio, paying particular attention to Maker’s Mark bourbon, Galliano liqueur and the Bols liqueurs range.

The CCA portfolio also includes Jim Beam Small Batch, Canadian Club and Sauza tequila.

A key figure in the Melbourne bar scene for many years, Stock has won numerous international accolades, including first place in the UK Rum Club ‘Hurricane’ Cocktail Competition in 2008 and winning the Melbourne Rum Club ‘Pina Colada’ Cocktail Competition in 2007.

Fittingly, he was also a finalist in the 2007 Galliano’s Hottest Bartender competition.

Stock will join fellow brand ambassadors Jared Plummer and Oliver Stuart, both of whom are based in NSW.
