JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group has highlighted its expectations for increased pub sales activity with three new appointments to its Australian team.

Chloe Mason joins in Perth and Scott Parker in Brisbane as Senior Executives responsible for hotel and hospitality sales, and Gillian Berardi will commence as National Marketing Specialist across both divisions of the hospitality platform.

The trio will work alongside National Director, Pub Division John Musca and Australasian Managing Director – Head of Investment Sales Australasia, Peter Harper.

Musca said: “The national pubs division now draws on the experience of twelve specialists in an increasingly consolidating industry where cross-border representation is becoming central to the national expansion platforms of many operating groups.

“We’re building the team in anticipation of brokerage activity following a Nike swoosh trajectory in the medium term across the country.”

The appointments bring a lot of experience to the JLL team, with Mason having spent five years with CBRE in both Perth and Brisbane as a Senior Sales Executive, Capital Markets Hotels & Leisure, responsible for a range of hotel and leisure property transactions.

Parker brings nearly 10 years of hospitality industry experience and relationships with senior sales positions at both Next Payment platform and Tabcorp Holdings, while Berardi brings nearly five years’ experience in hotel marketing at CBRE Hotels.

Harper said: “Chloe and Scott will provide wide-ranging advice to industry stakeholders, from operational reviews, general advisory to transaction structuring and capital deployment strategies.

“Their expertise and relationships will form an integral part of the national JLL Hotels and Hospitality Group offering.”
