Havana Club rum is hosting a series of master classes in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane this week, to educate bartenders on the finer points of the Havana Club range.

Hosted by Havana Club global brand ambassador Miguel Diaz and Cuban bartender Damien Perez, the classes will explore the history and traditions of Cuban rum making, including a guided tasting of the range and a cocktail demonstration at the end.

Monday’s session at Café Pacifico in Sydney was attended by more than 50 of Sydney’s top bartenders.

“It is so great to be able to teach these bartenders about Havana Club while doing a tasting,” Diaz said. “And afterwards we can all enjoy a proper Cuban cocktail.”

The Melbourne session will be held today (November 5) at Collingwood World and the final session will be held tomorrow at Byblos in Brisbane.
