It’s the ultimate coffee showdown: bartenders vs baristas to see who really makes the best coffee and cocktails after dark.
Mr Black and Monin are challenging bartenders and baristas to create two coffee influenced cocktails that best represent the miracle that is coffee.
HOW TO ENTER
Bartenders – submit an image of your cocktail, the recipe, your name, postal address, phone number and the venue you’re representing via email to enter@mrblack.co
Baristas – submit an image of your signature non-alcoholic coffee drink, the recipe, your name, postal address, phone number and the venue you’re representing via email to “enter@mrblack.co”.
WHO CAN ENTER:
Over 18 years old from submission and under 27 years old or under at 12th November, 2017. Must currently be working in a bar or café in the state where competition is being hosted (for preliminary rounds).
THE PRIZE
There will be a winner from each category: cocktail and signature coffee drink. The creator of the winning cocktail will feature in key liquor industry media (photo and recipe). The creator of the winning signature coffee drink will be featured in BeanScene.
The winner from each category will also represent their state at the finals later in the year in Sydney for a major prize.
The major prize for the winning coffee drink will be the opportunity to represent Australia at the Monin Coffee Creativity Cup in Seoul – Korea, November 2017 (week of World Barista Championship)
