Jim Beam has extended its multimedia advertising campaign ‘The Bourbon’ with two new instalments dubbed ‘The Stalker’ and ‘The Neighbours’.

Following on from last year’s successful instalments — ‘The Girlfriend’, ‘The Tragedy’ and ‘The Party’ — the ads feature amusing characters. ‘The Stalker’ features an ex-girlfriend who has not accepted her relationship is over and ‘The Neighbours’ sees two Swedish women who sunbake in their “birthday suits”.

“‘The Girlfriend’ campaign pushed boundaries and reinforced Jim Beam’s position as a brand people talked about. It generated great pub banter and made people laugh,” said Jim Beam brand director, Ray Noble.

“This talkability factor is what made the campaign such a success and encouraged us to continue pushing the boundaries with our new creative.”

The campaign will include TV, online and print coverage. Each ad is supported by a microsite featuring interactive SMS capabilities, which will go live today.
