The J&J O’Brien Group’s Fifth Annual Cosmopolitans for a Cause event will take place at The Watershed Hotel next Wednesday, June 6.
The annual pink fundraiser seeks to raise awareness and treatment in breast cancer, again supporting the McGrath Foundation.
To celebrate the Cosmopolitan era and coincide with the release of the Hollywood production filmed in Sydney and set to be released Christmas Day, this year’s theme invites guests to participate in a Great Gatsby theme.
The namesake cocktail will be flowing freely to guests for two hours, expected to comprise of hundreds of women and some brave men.
Four-piece band One Hit Wonders will regale the crowd with the best of disco, glam rock and pop, and refreshments will be served by ladies’ favourites ‘Butlers in the Buff’.
This year’s raffle prize pool tops $12,000 with items donated by global fashion houses Gucci, Bulgari, Jimmy Choo and Miu Miu, plus leading companies in accommodation and hospitality.
Guests will each receive a gift bag valued at over $100RRP, containing a collection of treats, fashion tid-bits, and health and beauty products.
