Little Creatures Brewing has released its first-ever seasonal beer called Return of the Dread, with the Extra Stout being available on tap and off premise.
The head brewer of Little Creatures, Russell Gosling said: "This is a much loved style amongst Little Creatures and as each winter passed since the release of the original Single Batch, the brewers would indulge in some collective reminiscing.
"This year, we said enough is enough; it's time for Return of the Dread."
The Victorian brewed ale has a 7.2% abv and contains UK Fuggles Hops and Pale Ale Malts to form "a dark, smooth stout with a balanced taste and prominent bitterness".
Return of the Dread's flavour profile is described as "aromas of chocolate, vanilla and liquorice, with a sweet and slightly bitter taste that very long in length."
The beer, which is designed as a winter brew, is only available for the next three months, with Little Creature confident of future permanent seasonal releases, including a summer edition set for release later in the year.
