Bacardi-Martini Australia (BMA) has announced the appointment of Jonathan Sully as the company’s new Marketing Director.

The move completes a full circle for Sully who began his career with Diageo in the UK, where he worked on some of that company’s core brands and he has been welcomed back to the liquor industry by BMA Managing Director, Denis Brown.

“With over 20 years proven experience in Marketing roles across the UK, USA and Australia, Jonathan brings a strong combination of leadership and Marketing excellence to both his role and as a member of the Executive Team,” Brown said.

“Jonathan is a customer centric ‘brand evangelist’, committed to leading our marketing team, and we welcome him to the Bacardi family.”

After leaving Diageo, Sully worked in the UK and US with Hasbro International, before moving into the world of media and entertainment. Most recently he has worked at World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) as General Manager, then Fox Sports and The Walt Disney Company as Marketing Director.

Brown added: “During his time in these roles, Jonathan led digital transformations by harnessing emerging trends and new technology to influence business strategy.”
