The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) is seeking feedback from wine grape growers, winemakers and the industry regarding potential competition and fair trading issues in the wine grape industry.
The ACCC has said that it is conducting an anonymous survey of wine grape growers across Australia in a bid to better understand:
- how widespread the concerns and potential issues are
- whether the concerns and potential issues are more prevalent in particular regions
- the effect of certain industry practices on wine grape growers.
The Commission said that the survey will take around 15 minutes to complete and that the results may be used to “inform any future ACCC activities in the industry, including possible in-depth research and analysis”.
The survey closes on Friday 10 August, 2018 and the ACCC said that all responses will be treated as confidential and will not be publicly attributed to any respondents.
