Carlton & United Breweries (CUB) has released Carlton Draught cans in retro packaging, in celebration of the brand’s 150th anniversary.

Carlton Draught marketing manager Mick McKeown said the replica white cans have been released as a tip to the history and heritage of Carlton Draught, but the liquid is the same Carlton Draught consumers enjoy today.

"The white can would be burned into the memories of many of those old enough to drink in the late seventies and early eighties," he said.

CUB is also running a heritage commercial for the brand throughout this month, featuring some of the questionable fashion of the era.

The heritage cans are available until sold out in Liquorland and First Choice.
