Popular Italian lager Peroni Nastro Azzurro is tapping into the draught beer phenomenon and will soon be available on tap in selected venues across Australia.
From October 12, 22 premium venues in Melbourne and Sydney will serve the beer in its draught form, following on from successful launches in Italy, England and the United States.
“It is very exiting that this iconic premium Italian lager can now be enjoyed on-draught by Australian consumers in addition to the popular Peroni bottles,” said Pacific Beverages marketing manager, Tobias Hoogewerff.
“Peroni Draught will be served at … 3 degrees in a chilled branded glass that will allow Australians to enjoy [Peroni] with all the style and quality it deserves.”
To celebrate the launch, a special event will be held at Opera Bar on October 22, in conjunction with Opera Bar’s week long installation titled ‘The Best Beer Garden in the World’.
