Distributors unite to create Australian Beverage Group
Three leading distribution companies, The Beverage Company, Iconic Beverage Australia and Swift & Moore have united to form the Australian Beverage Group (ABG).
The group, which started this week, brings together key state-based and national distribution platforms to bring members superior support.
Speaking about the, Michael McShane, CEO of Swift & Moore, said: “We are very excited to be part of ABG. ABG said it is planning to provide superior independent beverage solutions to the Australian market and provide deep local knowledge, face to face engagement and national wholesale support.
Co-Founder and Director of The Beverage Company, Craig Sweet, added: “ABG is a fresh and enterprising alternative that brands have been looking for in the Australian liquor market. ABG brings 80 plus years of liquor distribution and marketing experience supported by some of the best brand builders and salespeople in the country.
