In pictures: Keepers of the Quaich’s Australian dinner

The Australian Chapter of The Keepers of the Quaich gathered for a celebration of Scotch whisky in Sydney; TheShout was there to enjoy good whisky with good friends and good food – the perfect trifecta.
- New Keepers are normally inducted at a celebratory dinner at Blair Castle near the Scottish city of Perth and this evening brought Blair Castle to the Cell Block Theatre in Sydney.
- Around 150 people gathered for the celebration which was sponsored by Bacardi-Martini, Beam-Suntory, Brown-Forman, Campari, Diageo, Pernod-Ricard, Spirits Platform and William Grant & Sons.
- During the evening guests heard from the Chairman of the Australian Chapter Colin Rochester.
- Guests were further regaled with stories of Scotland and whisky by the former Managing Director of Endeavour Drinks Group, Martin Smith.
- With whisky the centre of the celebration, guests were treated to some incredible food and whisky combinations including smoked oysters with Laphroaig 10-Year Old.
- Other servings included slow roasted lamb with Johnnie Walker 18-Year-Old and of course haggis paired with both The Macallan Rare Cask and Chivas Regal 18-Year-Old.
