Jim Beam has added a new apple whiskey to its line up with the release of Jim Beam Apple, which sees the taste of green apples added to the Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
Available from August, the whiskey is described as “a perfect balance of apple and delicious bourbon… a balance of tart and sweet, and with subtle oak undertones, with a lingering apple finish with a touch of oak”. Bottled at 30% ABV, the product the whiskey blended with apple liqueur, and Jim Beam recommends that it is best enjoyed on the rocks or with club soda as a Jim Beam Apple Highball with a few green apple slices as a garnish.
Jim Beam Apple will be distributed through Coca-Cola Amatil as part of an exclusive distribution agreement between CCA and Beam Suntory International.
The launch of the new whiskey extends the brand’s existing flavoured whiskey portfolio, which already includes Jim Beam Honey.
