Krombacher launches 2019 Pourfection campaign

Kollaras & Co is continuing its significant brand partnership with Krombacher, for the launch of the annual Krombacher Pourfection Competition for 2019.

The campaign is already underway in multiple markets around the world and runs until the end of February. On offer is a chance to win return flights to Germany with transfers and accommodation, plus a VIP tour of the Krombacher Brewery and a ticket to the 2019 Purity Law Party.

Krombacher’s Director of Sales & Marketing, Stephan Kofler, said: “Pourfection is a fun way of raising pouring standards. Our aim is not to just ensure bar teams have the knowledge and power to pour perfectly but we want to increase understanding among consumers as well.”

Entrants are required to submit a video of their best Krombacher pour to the contest Facebook page, with the winning Australian entry for 2018 featuring a Krombacher Road Trip; Sydney’s Aaron Jones invented a clever beer holder to transport Krombacher on the roof of his car.

Kollaras Marketing Manager Georgia Kollaras explained; “Krombacher is a cornerstone brand within the Kollaras & Co Portfolio and it was brilliant to see the engagement from consumers in our previous competitions.

“Last year, the time and effort each of the entrants put into perfecting their pour was incredible, and there is no doubt that even more creative entries will be received for the 2019 campaign.”

Krombacher is the number one premium brand in Germany, with over 80 glasses consumed every second in Germany alone. The brand has a strong international presence across the globe and Kollaras said that this year’s Pourfection competition will be supported by a strong social media campaign.
