The new sugar-free RTDs from Smirnoff and UDL have enjoyed strong pick up across both the chains and independents since launching in April, Diageo Australia says.

Smirnoff Ice Double Black Zero Sugar has the same flavour profile as the original SKU and is set to further build on Smirnoff’s position as the number one-selling RTD brand by value within white spirits, while the UDL Zero Sugar range includes two flavour variants, UDL Zero Sugar Vodka Strawberry & Lime and UDL Zero Sugar Vodka Mixed Berry.

Diageo Australia director for marketing and innovation, Adam Ballesty, said the company continues to lead the vodka pre-mix market.

"We're looking to extend this in 2014 with these exciting new developments, supporting their introduction with a $1.3 million investment spanning in-store and sampling."

Smirnoff Ice Double Black Zero Sugar has an ABV of 6.5 per cent and an RRP of $19.99 per four-pack, while the UDL Zero Sugar range has an ABV of 4.2 per cent with an RRP of $19.99 per six-pack.
