Lion Nathan Wine Group is now the sole owner of domestic wine distribution company Fine Wine Partners (FWP), after acquiring the remaining economic interest of the business from Tucker Seabrook.
Launched in 2005 as a joint venture between fine wine distributors Distinguished Vineyards and Tucker Seabrook, Fine Wine Partners (FWP) provides sales, trade marketing and distribution services for premium Australian and international wine brands.
Former Tucker Seabrook chairman Rob Hirst will remain as chairman of the FWP Advisory Board of Directors and will continue in an active consulting capacity. This includes leading the recently relaunched Wine List of the Year Awards and the Master Sommelier Program.
Full ownership by Lion Nathan Wine Group aims to facilitate further investment in the business, enabling FWP to take advantage of market opportunities that arise.
