Pernod Ricard Australia will be holding its first ever Annual Bartender Pétanque Smackdown tournament on Sunday January 20th.
The pétanque competition is being sponsored by Ricard and will be hosted by the iconic French anise-flavoured liqueur’s Australian brand ambassador, Ben Taouss. It will be held at the Gazebo Wine Garden starting at 3pm.
“We would like to invite local bartenders to be part of this fun competition that aims to find out who has the best pétanque skills in town. They will be competing in pairs so they better choose their partners wisely,” said Taouss.
“And there will be a Ricard concoction on arrival as well as plenty of other goodies too.”
Further rounds for the event will be hold on January 2th, February 3rd and February 10th.
