Sullivans Cove Whisky has teamed up with The Tarkine Devil Project to help preserve Tasmania's most iconic animal.

As part of the partnership The Tarkine Devil Project will receive $1 for every bottle of whisky sold on Sullivans Cove Whisky's website and its Facebook shop.

Tasmania's devil population is under threat of extinction from facial tumour disease and the Tarkine is one of the last remaining areas where disease free devils are found. The Tarkine Devil Project monitors both the spread of the disease and the habits of disease free devils in the Tarkine using motion sensor cameras in the forest and thereby providing invaluable data to researchers.

Sullivans Cove Whisky chief distiller Patrick Maguire said: "Sullivans Cove has long prided itself on its deep connection with Tasmania's wilderness and this partnership allows us an opportunity to help in the preservation of Tasmania's most iconic animal, the Tassie devil."

Limited release, award-winning Sullivans Cove whiskies are now available online at www.sullivanscovewhisky.com.
