Tabcorp Holdings has increased its group revenue to $508.7 million, up 3.3 per cent on the prior corresponding period (pcp).

The company's year-to-date revenue has also increased, going up by 5.6 per cent to $1,623.9 million on the pcp.

Tabcorp's wagering and media revenue helped drive the positive result, up by 5.6 per cent to $440.6 million, this offset the 13.8 per cent drop in Keno revenue. The Keno decline was "primarily due to a disproportionate number of jackpot prizes being won".

Tabcorp's managing director and chief executive officer, David Attenborough, said: "Tabcorp achieved revenue growth in the third quarter, driven by the performance of our wagering & media business.

"It was pleasing to see the momentum in wagering continue on the back of a strong first half, which included a successful Soccer World Cup."
