The Glenlivet 12 Year Old returns to Australia

Popular single malt, The Glenlivet 12 Year Old, is returning to Australia for the first time since November 2015.

A global shortage of the liquid saw sales in Australia cease, but thanks to an increased global availability of aged stock the whisky returned to bars and retailers in limited stocks from last week.

Sinea Weintz, Brand Ambassador for The Glenlivet said: “Australians love The Glenlivet 12 Year Old and there is strong demand for Scotch whisky across the country. The single malts category alone in Australia is in strong double-digit growth at +19.7 per cent.”

Commenting on a recent trip to Australia, The Glenlivet Master Distiller Alan Winchester said: “As I travelled around the country talking to whisky enthusiasts, I was pleased to see that drinkers really enjoyed the classic Speyside flavours of The Glenlivet 12 Year Old – so now I am absolutely delighted to report that it’s back.”

Matured using American and European Oak Casks, The Glenlivet 12 Year Old is available at leading Australian liquor retailers at an RRP of $85.
