Lao Brewery Company was founded in 1971 in Vientiane by a French national and is the largest company in Laos.
Beer Lao is rice brewed using native varieties of polished rice and imported yeast from Germany with malted barley from France .

Lao Brewery produces 120 million litres annually and exports to Australia, New Zealand , UK, Japan, America, Canada, Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia.

Beer Lao is available in 330 and 640 ml. bottles and is brewed without using common preservatives

Beer Lao has won international recognition through a series of awards, which include GOLD at the Monde Awards in Belgium.
