COMMERCIAL SALES MANAGER
Fox Sports Venues was established over 10 years ago when licensed premises found that live sports was a valuable way of attracting customers. Today, hundreds of thousands of people watch Fox Sports’ live matches in their local pubs, clubs and hotels every week throughout Australia
Fox Sports Venues is currently looking for an enthusiastic and results driven field based Commercial Sales Manager to manage our Licensed Premises division for the Sydney CBD, Northern Suburbs, Central Coast and Newcastle areas. The role will be supporting the National Sales Manager in acquiring new customers, retaining existing and selling Fox Sports’ range of content.
Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving and exceeding all agreed sales targets relating to new business acquisition and existing customer retention within your assigned geographical territory;
- Prospecting within the pub, club and hotel markets;
- Maximising commercial subscribers in your territory, both through new subscriber acquisition and effective churn management
- Delivering targeted calling to existing customers to ascertain opportunities for HD, Pay Per View, additional decoders and other products
- Effectively planning your own workflow each day, including journey planning to cover a minimum number of daily visits
- Production of accurate and timely reporting
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- Between 3-5 years previous proven experience in field sales & demonstrated sales target achievements
- Strong PC literacy and excellent interpersonal / communication skills are essential
- A full, clean driving license is essential
- Knowledge of the licensed trade industry or high profile consumer brand would be highly desirable
- In depth knowledge and a genuine reasoned interest in sports
- A relevant degree from a reputable university would be an advantage
- Enthusiastic, conscientious and proactive is a must for this role
- Existing relationships with Hoteliers and/or key industry representatives will be highly regarded
