Stone & Wood has launched their mid-strength Garden Ale in cans for the first time, while calling out the beer’s lower alc/vol benefits in the new design.

A fully flavoured mid-strength brewed for lazy days spent in the backyard or at your local beer garden, the new-look Garden Ale, in cans from mid-July, reflects both the market’s growing interest in mid-strength and craft cans.

With moderation a key and continuing trend in 2019, Garden Ale caters to those seeking a lower alcohol option while still enjoying themselves.

Unsurprisingly, mid-strength beers continue to please crowds, with the category outperforming the market, growing at +4.4% MAT*, a result that ultimately inspired a design that proudly highlights Garden Ale’s 3.5% alc/vol.

Additionally, drinkers are still actively looking for can options, with the purchase of craft cans growing from 11% to 17% within one year. Now in 375ml cans, Garden Ale fits nicely into the offering of independent craft beer in cans.

Brewed with a blend of pale and crystal malts, and both kettle and dry hopped with Ella, our sessionable Garden Ale has a subtle fruit aroma that’s balanced with a toasted malt backbone and a soft bitter finish – a fully flavoured mid-strength for whenever you’re taking it easy.
