As the low carb beer segment continues to grow, and beer drinkers increase their repertoires to suit a range of drinking occasions, Hahn today (Mar 30) introduced to its portfolio a new premium, mid-strength low carb beer – Hahn Super Dry 3.5.

Based on the Hahn Super Dry recipe, Hahn Super Dry 3.5 fulfils the quality promise of all Hahn beers, delivering an incredibly refreshing brew with the fruity and hoppy notes that come from using the finest available ingredients, with no artificial additives or preservatives. Its enhanced brewing process breaks down more of the natural sugars to produce a beer with only one-third of the carbohydrates of regular beers.

“Hahn Super Dry 3.5 offers beer drinkers a ‘step-up’ mid-strength option with fewer carbs,” said Arno Lenior, Category Marketing Director. “We know beer drinkers are widening their repertoires and are opting for a range of beers depending on the occasion. We believe Hahn Super Dry 3.5 will appeal to drinkers who appreciate a beer with taste, yet want fewer carbs and the benefit of mid-strength.”

“When we launched Hahn Super Dry in 2007, we knew we were onto something special, in creating a low carb beer that has real flavour. We’ve used those same brewing processes to ensure we deliver another great product that is also mid-strength,” said Mr. Lenior.

The launch will be supported in the new ‘In the Spirit of Good Taste’ Hahn Super Dry TV campaign, and through press advertising, PR, in-store point of sale and sampling activity.

Following on from its full strength counterpart, Hahn Super Dry 3.5 comes in a premium-looking brown bottle and features sleek silver and orange packaging.

Hahn Super Dry 3.5 launches today in Queensland, followed by Western Australia on 6th April. A national roll out is expected to follow in the coming months.
