Two unique releases from Mackillop’s Choice Scotch Whisky are now being offered to the market through SouthTrade International.

As a Master of Wine (MW), director Lorne Mackillop personally selects and bottles some of the finest and rarest malt Scotch Whisky for his quality single cask range.

While about 40 Scottish distilleries have either been closed or demolished over the past 30 years, sometimes their whiskies still emerge in addition to those from the 90 distilleries still in operation.

So, as the different whiskies of various ages from across Scotland become available, Mackillop puts them through an intense tasting and selection process.

This ensures only those of super premium quality and the ones showing unique character make the final cut. They then get bottled straight from the barrel and are unaltered in any way.

The current releases are the Longmorn, March 1983, Cask No. 43043, and the Dalmore, June 1986, Cask No: 3096, presenting two rare and quality options for the market.
