Move over Champagne! Mi Scusi Prosecco is coming through, taking centre stage and making no apologies for it. The cheeky sparkling is scooping medals up as it goes, recently winning a Gold medal as well as the title of ‘Victoria Prosecco of the Year’ at The Melbourne International Wine Competition.
Marketing Manager for Kollaras, Georgia Kollaras, who distribute the award-winning Prosecco, said to win both a gold medal and a Prosecco of the Year title was an exceptional achievement and demonstrated the high quality of Australian Prosecco.

Prosecco has well and truly delivered Champagne its marching orders with the category experiencing three consecutive years of growth close to 50% (ALSA State of Industry Report). It has increased its shelf presence too, with a 25% spike in the number of Prosecco items available in retail liquor over the past two years.
