An exciting opportunity has arisen to join SouthTrade International as an important member of our expanding sales team.  SouthTrade is well respected as Australia’s leading importer of premium alcoholic beverages, and has a reputation for delivering outstanding service to customers.  Our brand portfolio is formidable, with brands such as Patron Tequila, Green Fairy Absinth, Alizé, Agwa, Buffalo Trace Bourbon and Pusser’s Rum.  We are fully owned by the working directors and are well resourced for expansion with sales growing at around 30% pa.
   
Reporting to our NSW On-Premise Sales Manager, this part-time role will be predominantly expanding sales into existing on-premise venues and introducing new customers to the SouthTrade portfolio. Our brands are innovative and of premium quality requiring a thorough understanding of their benefits in order to successfully introduce them to bartenders and managers.   This role is particularly suited to professional bartenders with a passion for quality drinks, excellence in service, and a desire to expand their career in the liquor industry.  

Applicants for this position must have:

  • Significant experience in the Liquor Industry.
  • Established relationships and contacts in and around Sydney
  • A passion for developing and maintaining strong business relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A true passion for serving the liquor industry.

The successful applicant will be self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude and a burning desire to make the most of the considerable opportunities that SouthTrade has in this very important market.  Honesty and integrity are prerequisites.

Remuneration is negotiable in line with experience and ability.  There are excellent opportunities for advancement in this rapidly growing business.
