If you think this is just another XPA, think again! The team at O’Brien have taken the time to apply some learnings from the market, and they’ve delivered a ripper of a beer that’s refreshingly different.

Says Founder and Head Brewer, John O’Brien, “Given the number of options out there, we wanted to offer XPA lovers the hoppy aroma and taste they’ve come to expect from an XPA, but with lower bitterness, lower alcohol and a clean finish that we know enhances drinkability”.

The product tasting notes describe the XPA as “A blend of Citra and Cascade hops that delivers a distinctive XPA aroma and refreshing burst of citrus flavour.  At a modest 3.8% ABV, O’Brien XPA is surprisingly full-bodied, with a crisp, clean finish.”  Like all O’Brien beers, brewed from Australian-grown and malted ancient grains, the XPA has the added benefit of being 100% gluten free.

With this type of profile, it’s no surprise that the XPA is enjoying broad appeal amongst beer drinkers.  The lower ABV also means that it can retail at the very attractive price point of $20 per 4-pack.

O’Brien is packaged in 375ml cans (4X4 packs) and available from all major wholesalers.
