The battle to capture the gaming dollar is creating ever more innovative and attractive machines to entice the gambler.

Ainsworth Game Technologies, run by executive chairman and legend of the industry Leonard Ainsworth, have possibly led the way in their attempt to attract the technology savvy player with the release of a new and powerful machine.

The A560 features single or twin LCD widescreens, a powerful Quadtronic processor, high-quality sound system and significantly an ergonomic player interface that supports up to 18 play buttons.

The machine is available in three modular versions and will soon be come in Ainsworth’s popular games, as well as new titles soon to be released.

“With the strong success of the A560 and brands such as Double Shot and Triple Shot series combined with our continued commitment for providing high performing, innovative and engaging games to the New South Wales hotel market, Ainsworth looks forward to an outstanding year,” said Ainsworth Game Technology’s CEO, Danny Gladstone.

The impending proposed changes to poker machine laws may increase the manufacturers’ need to create exciting products to attract the casual punters that make up such an important part of licensed premise revenue.

A feature article in May’s Australian Hotelier will explore these questions in greater detail.
