The Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) is now the third largest gaming and hospitality industry trade show in the world; a position that has come with continuing growth since it was first held in 1990.

Back in its inaugural year, AGE comprised around 100 exhibitors who fill just one hall of the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre at Darling Harbour. That year also saw around 1500 visitors attend the exhibition, with both the number of exhibitors and visitors seeing the show heralded a huge success.

Fast forward to 2019 and visitors will be greeted by 229 exhibitors covering 19,000 square metres at the International Convention Centre Sydney Darling Harbour. And the team behind AGE are also expecting another bumper crowd of visitors.

“Last year the visitor count at the show was 8638, which is a 600 per cent increase over our inaugural year and this year looks like being another bumper year with our pre-show visitor registrations running at about the same as last year,” the team said.

“A highlight for this year will be the 30 year celebrations starting with several exhibitors who have been with us for the 30 years being acknowledged at a special event.”

Another exciting aspect to this year’s show is the opportunity to win a trip for two to Las Vegas, simply by attending. There is also the opportunity for visitors to increase their chances of winning the trip during their time at the show.

Australia’s Leading Gaming CRM supplier, RedeemX, has partnered with the AGE to deliver a unique experience to AGE visitors. Utilising RedeemX solutions, visitors will be able to earn extra tickets to the daily ‘Win a Trip to Vegas’ promotion at various kiosk locations on the expo floor, as well as engaging via SMS and playing games. The more visitors engage the more chances they have to win a fantastic trip to Vegas.

The Australasian Gaming Expo is on August 13 to 15, 2019.  Visitor registration is available at www.austgamingexpo.com or call the Gaming Expo Help line on 02 9211 7430.
